Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Device Raptors! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Device Raptors platform (the “Platform”), which connects consumers and independent electronics repair businesses. By accessing or using our website or mobile app, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Device Raptors

Device Raptors is a marketplace platform that connects consumers with electronics repair shops. We do not provide repair services ourselves, nor do we process payments. Our platform allows consumers to:

• Submit repair tickets
• Sell electronics
• Browse and purchase used devices listed by verified businesses

Only verified businesses are allowed to post products on the Marketplace. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and reliability of our platform.

2. User Types

a. Consumers

• Request repair services by creating a repair ticket
• Sell electronics to local businesses using our electronics sales feature (only verified businesses can make purchase offers)
• Browse and purchase devices listed on the Marketplace (only verified businesses can post items for sale)

b. Businesses

• Accept and complete repair jobs, and are responsible for providing a final invoice at the end of each repair
• Purchase used electronics from consumers (this feature is currently free but may change with the introduction of a subscription model. Businesses will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any changes)
• Post products for sale on the Marketplace (currently free)

3. Platform Disclaimer

Device Raptors is not a service provider and is not a party to any transaction between a consumer and a business. By using the platform, you agree that:

• Device Raptors is not responsible for the quality, success, or outcome of any repair or sale
• We do not guarantee or warranty any product or service; all agreements are strictly between the consumer and the service provider
• We do not offer refunds or returns
• All transactions, issues, or disputes must be handled directly between the consumer and the business

4. Fees and Charges

• Marketplace access and device purchases: Free for both consumers and businesses (subject to change)
• Repair transactions: Device Raptors charges businesses an 8% commission on completed repairs
• Selling electronics: Free for now

Businesses are required to issue invoices directly to consumers and complete repair tasks in a professional and timely manner. If multiple tickets remain open or invoices are not submitted, the business account may be temporarily suspended.

5. Business Responsibilities

• Provide honest and accurate repair services and product descriptions
• Complete all accepted repair jobs
• Submit proper invoices to consumers upon completion
• Not bypass the platform or hide repair transactions to avoid paying commission
• Pay auto-generated weekly invoices issued by Device Raptors. Failure to pay may result in the automatic suspension of your business account and restriction from receiving new requests
• Any attempt to deceive users, avoid fees, or abuse the platform may result in permanent account termination

6. Consumer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate device information when submitting tickets or selling devices
• Understand that Device Raptors is not responsible for the quality of repair or product performance
• Communicate directly with businesses regarding repairs, purchases, or concerns
• Approve invoices issued by businesses and leave reviews to help improve platform quality

7. Disputes and Ticket System

Consumers may submit a support ticket if an issue arises. While Device Raptors will do its best to facilitate fair communication, we:

• Do not guarantee dispute resolution
• Are not liable for any loss, damage, or claims
• May choose to assist at our discretion, but do not offer formal mediation services
• All disputes must be handled directly between the consumer and the business

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Device Raptors — including our name, logo, platform design, content, and materials — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, use, or reproduce any of our intellectual property without express written permission.

9. Termination of Use

• Device Raptors reserves the right to:
• Suspend or terminate any user or business account that violates these Terms
• Modify, limit, or discontinue any part of the platform without prior notice

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Any significant changes will be posted on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes means you agree to the updated Terms.
